Prof. Dr. Zie­gler‘s re­search fo­cus­es on in­for­ma­tion and con­tent ma­n­age­ment of tech­ni­cal in­for­ma­tion. This in­cludes con­tent cre­a­tion, con­tent ma­n­age­ment and con­tent pub­lish­ing as well as the con­cep­tu­al de­sign and im­ple­men­ta­tion of ap­pro­pri­ate soft­ware and pro­cess­es. Re­search re­sults are main­ly ap­plied to in­ter­nal and ex­ter­nal doc­u­men­ta­tion for dif­fer­ent me­dia, spe­cif­i­cal­ly to pre-sales and af­ter-sales in­for­ma­tion (us­er, train­ing or ser­vice in­for­ma­tion).
